Overview Job Skills / Requirements As an Integrated Guarding Operator, you will be responsible for remote video monitoring from within our Operations Centre. The role requires quick decision-making and the ability to handle alarm events and incidents efficiently while maintaining professionalism. You should be comfortable working independently, especially in a build-out environment where systems and processes are continually evolving.Location: This role is fully office-based in our Operations Centre in Burnaby.Shifts: We are currently looking for three full-time Operators for day (0800-1600hrs) or afternoon (1600-0000hrs) shifts. All schedules include at least one weekend shift.RESPONSIBILITES:Monitors analytics-based alerts, live video feeds, and camera health across multiple client sitesIdentifies and assesses security related incidents in real time and follows intervention and escalation protocolsUtilizes the talkdown system to communicate remotely to deescalate the potentially threatening situations, maintaining confidence and authorityActs quickly and decisively when handling alarm events, take appropriate action and close the events with right outcomesFollows the set instructions for each site and ensure compliance with standard proceduresLogs activities, mobile dispatches, and documents for all security-related events; accurately documents incidents, alarms and actions taken on reports for management and clientsCommunicates with emergency responders or clients during critical eventsEnsure that all necessary information is passed on to the next operator or shift in a clear, concise, and accurate mannerPerforms other duties as required to meet operational needs REQUIREMENTS:Minimum of one (1) year of work experience as a Security Officer and/or in a monitoring dispatch environmentExcellent situational awareness, judgement, and decision-making under pressureExcellent written and verbal communication skillsComfortable working independently in an Operations Centre environmentComfortable with using security monitoring platforms and technologyAbility to notice and act on small details that could be crucial in preventing security breachesExperience with Immix GF is considered an asset#INDVR
