Role and Responsibilities
- Familiar with electrical control systems must have min 2-3 years’ experience in a relevant field.
- Must have hand-on experience with purchase planning in a job-shop environment.
- Must have high level organizational skills in fast paced environment.
- Must be proficient using Excel and word.
- Familiar with ISO 9001-2015 Quality Management System
- Work with Production/Sales and Project Management to identify materials and equipment required to construct electrical projects.
- Obtain and evaluate competitive material quotes.
- Create purchase orders for materials and equipment, using established company purchasing procedures.
- Negotiate pricing with selected suppliers.
- Establish the most favorable pricing, terms, quality and delivery
- Maintain proper stock levels and provide regular inventory reports and analysis
- Communicated with suppliers regarding stock availability, ETA and product specifications
- Issue purchase orders for materials and equipment.
- Coordinate delivery of materials to facility based on predetermined deadlines.
- Expedite material and equipment purchases, as required.
- Utilize supplier pricing sheets to determine the most effective supplier.
- Negotiate SPA’s with suppliers.
- Work with engineering to provide detailed and accurate bills of materials for the work order.
- Identify and evaluate possible problems and conflicts with suppliers in terms of quality and delivery.
- Provide alternative ideas or solutions to resolve supplier problems and conflicts.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
- College or higher
- 2-3 years’ experience with a proven track record

Preferred Skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Resourceful and savvy in the technique of negotiation for part sourcing.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Ability to build consensus and influence others.

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
