We're Hiring Join the AK Level and Polish Team Position: Office Administrator (Construction Industry) Location: MARKHAM Type: Full-Time
About Us: AK Level and Polish is a premier construction company specializing in floor leveling, epoxy coatings, concrete polishing, surface preparation, and moisture vapor barriers. We're looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Office Administrator with a background in construction administration to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:Oversee daily administrative tasks specific to construction projects, including scheduling and tracking project timelines.Coordinate with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and the field team to ensure seamless communication and operations.Handle construction-related documentation, including contracts, permits, purchase orders, and invoices.Maintain organized project files, budgets, and reports.Assist in preparing proposals, bids, and project updates.Support leadership with operational and administrative needs.
Qualifications: ✔ Mandatory: Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction administration. ✔ Strong knowledge of construction terminology, documentation, and processes. ✔ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, project management tools, and accounting software. ✔ Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills. ✔ Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. ✔ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines.

Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Markham, ON L3R 1C5: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
**Education**:
- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)
**Experience**:
- administration in construction: 2 years (required)
- Microsoft Word: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:
- drivers license (required)
