Sustainability Specialist, Low Carbon Fuels

4Refuel is looking for a **Sustainability Specialist, Low Carbon Fuels** to join our growing team.
**Job Summary**:
**Roles & Responsibilities**:
- Subject matter expert in all renewable energy solutions, such as, but not limited to:
- Biofuels (biodiesel and HVO)
- CNG and RNG
- Hydrogen
- Battery-electric
- Collaborate with Marketing to develop web-based tools and internal and customer-facing material focused on sustainable solutions in support of the energy transition.
- Support the Director of Sustainability in relevant strategic work as it relates to growing the renewable fuels market in Canada.
- Evaluate customer sustainability goals and demonstrate linkage to our sustainable offerings.
- Quantify product life cycle carbon emissions.
- Provides knowledge to strategically explore, understand, and influence customers in adopting renewable energy solutions.
- Attend sales calls and meetings to be the SME for renewable solutions.
- Ensure customer facing material and communication incorporate our strategy so that we can educate our customers as trusted energy transition advisors.
- Conduct energy assessment for target fleets/customers with a thorough understanding of model outputs.
- Assessing markets to help clients understand opportunities and challenges in specific carbon markets.
- Respond to ESG related areas within RFP/RFI as well as Supplier-related Sustainability Questionnaires
- Organizing and attending conferences and industry-related engagements, as necessary
- Understand and interpret current internal structure policy and regulatory framework, with the ability to leverage these programs to our benefit
- Help clients understand low carbon fuel standards and carbon credit market opportunities
- Other duties as assigned.
**Experience & Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (business, economics, marketing)
- Minimum 1-5 years of related experience
- Experience in GHG related reporting
- Strong written and oral communication skills, with confidence presenting to mid-to-high level executive audiences
- Ability to research and quickly understand new topics
- Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of corporate sustainability reporting frameworks and protocols to help customers navigate Scope 1-3 reduction and decarbonization opportunities
- Ability to balance competing priorities and deliverables
- Bilingual (English and French considered an asset).
