CNC Manufacturing Coordinator

Burckhardt Compression was founded in 1844 as a mechanical workshop and, in 2024, will be celebrating its 180th anniversary. Today, Burckhardt Compression is a worldwide market leader for reciprocating compressor systems and the only manufacturer and service provider that covers a full range of reciprocating compressor technologies and services. Within Canada, Burckhardt Compression has a strong Services division in which we aim to provide one-stop reciprocating service for our customers. We are able to provide field service, repair and engineering/revamp services and spare parts for any brand of reciprocating compressor.

Burckhardt Compression (Canada) Inc. (BCCA) has an opening for a **CNC Manufacturing Coordinator**, that will be directly reporting to the Repair and Manufacturing Manager, this position is based in Edmonton, AB.

**Shifts**:
Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm.

On-call rotation required.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Direct daily activities for a team of 3-6 CNC machinists / operators.
- Drive process improvement projects.
- Prepare workorders and schedules. Review completed job packages.
- Create, modify, standardize, and organize CNC programs (Lathe, Mill and Laser).
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure job success.
- Assist with forecasting and inventory management.
- Perform administrative tasks related to HR, Quality, and Health & Safety, as required.
- Process Optimization.
- Manufacturing Coordination.
- Quality/ISO responsibilities and compliance.
- Additional duties as assigned.

**Required Skills & Knowledge**:

- Must be self-directed with little supervision and able to positively contribute to a team environment
- Proven ability to read and interpret drawings and part specifications.
- Strong communication (verbal & written) skills.
- Effective and proven organizational skills to meet multiple deadlines and handle multiple tasks in a demanding work environment.
- Ability to successfully adapt to fast-growing and changing environments.
- Good working knowledge of SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and/or Mastercam
- Willingness to listen to and understand others.
- Team-player interested in fostering strong working relationships.
- Highly self-motivated and detail oriented.
- Strong customer focus.
- Ability to synthesize data, conduct analysis, and make recommendations.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook, Word PowerPoint & Excel.
- Previous experience with SAP would be considered an asset.

**Education & Experience**:

- 5+ years of experience in a CNC Manufacturing Environment.
