**Position Summary**:
The Office Manager role committed to achieving Doidge Building Centres Ltd.’s service standards by maintaining timely and accurate financial records. These include, but are not limited to, preparing cash requirement statements, increasing profit margins through prompt payment discounts, and maintaining vendor rebates. Providing timely and accurate reports and numbers needed to manage the business effectively to the management team.

**Location**:This position is at the RONA store in Port Hope or Cobourg, Ontario.

**Duties and Responsibilities, but not limited to**:

- Process outgoing payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
- Post daily financial transactions, including, but not limited to, verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data
- Reconcile the general ledger accounts to ensure all transactions are posted and up to date
- Monthly reconciliation of general ledger accounts
- Monthly reconciliation of accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Review and post visa expense statements
- Preparing payroll journal entry, including reviewing employees’ timecards, verifying, and tracking employee time off, and resolving all payroll discrepancies
- Working with the Human Resources department to ensure employee files are created and maintained
- Benefits administration: enrolling employees in the group insurance plan, maintain employee files with the insurance company.

**Qualifications**:

- Effective time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to set priorities and deliver results within deadline
- Exemplary listening, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proficient computer skills and math
- Experience with full cycle accounting, including cash, A/R, A/P, payroll, G/L and other accounting tasks
- Proven ability and commitment to managing the performance of others
- Experience with ADP software an asset
