**What you offer**

Mechanical and welding experience:

- Interest in continually upgrading skills and knowledge in trade
- Basic computer knowledge and ability to learn in house programs
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physically demanding duties
- Able to work some hours on weekends to accommodate customer deadlines.
- Great communication skills
- Manage Inventory.
- Ability to make good decisions under pressure
- Motivated to get the job done in an efficient manner and to specifications
- Possess excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills and abilities.
- Be proficient in English, both verbally and written.
- Manage the shop and shop personnel
- Prioritize repair work based on urgency and requirements
- Ability to work independently in a busy environment
- Willing to work overtime
- Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
- Strong attention to detail
- Completing written work orders and associated paperwork in an accurate and timely manner

**Summary**

As a Shop Technician with The DPF Company Inc., you’ll be working on al types of aftertreatment filters. This will include carrying out diagnostic tests and repairs to a variety of makes and models of filters. This position is based in our shop.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- Welding: 1 year (preferred)
