Shop Service Manager

Pride Fleet Solutions is looking for a mature individual to join the team at our Fort Errie, Ontario branch as a Shop Service Manager.

Duties include, but are not restricted to:

- Reports to General Manager
- Manage repairs to confirm estimated times are being met
- Manage technicians, confirm they are on duty at their assignments
- Manage and supervise employees in accordance to company policies
- Review and audit repair orders for completion and quality
- Ensure the vehicle is returned clean and sanitized once the repairs are completed
- Ensure Shop property & tools are put away properly
- Report any damaged, faulty, or missing tools and/or shop property
- Inform the mechanics when repair orders are scheduled to be completed
- Work with General Manager to implement short, medium and long-term goals
- Maintain daily shop inspections for safety, organization, and cleanliness
- Other duties as assigned and in line with the role

Job Qualifications:

- Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory position
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a diesel shop leadership role
- Customer service experience is an asset
- Health and Safety knowledge and experience is an asset
- Experience in the semi-truck/trailer repair industry is an asset

**Salary**: $42,000.00-$60,000.00 per year

- 10 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Mississauga, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

- Leadership: 3 years (preferred)
- Diesel Mechanic Shop: 2 years (required)
