EMCOM Construction Ltd. has been a leader in the Telecommunications Industry since 1988. Due to overwhelming demand and expanding the company, we are seeking a Shop / 310T Truck & Coach Technician Assistant to join our growing team

EMCOM Construction Ltd. is a privately owned Canadian Company that provides exceptional customer service and treats their employees with respect.

The **experienced & mature individual **will maintain cleanliness and organization in the yard/shop area performing routine maintenance operations and assisting licensed mechanic in shop.

**Job Requirements**
- **EXCELLENT PUNCTUALITY & DAILY ATTENDANCE a must**:

- **Use of Skid Steer and/or Backhoe an asset**:

- Working a long side a certified licensed mechanic
- 1st or 2nd year apprentice welcomed to apply
- Proven mechanical abilities including schematics & diagnostics
- Ability to set goals and manage multiple projects and initiatives
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing business needs.
- Detail oriented with a focus on putting safety first
- A positive attitude, team player and motivator
- Effective interpersonal skills, values and ethics, organized, excellent oral communication, excellent written communication, judgement of character and flexibility
- Working as a member of the team by assisting other members when required
- Consistently perform quality work
- Must have own tools & maintain personal tools
- Daily Housekeeping required, indoor and outdoor maintenance

**Responsibilities**
- Have a strong commitment to safety
- Follow policies & procedures
- Work safely under Fleet Management using directed PPE

- **Day shift (Monday to Friday 7am-3pm)**:

- No overtime or weekend work needed
- After probation, company is willing to register individual to apprentice status and help aim towards 310T Certification license.

**Experience**
- 1 to 2 years’ experience a must
- Mature ready to work individuals need only apply

**License**
- **Valid Ontario Class G license** with clean abstract
- **Skid Steer and/or Backhoe certificate**
