**Logistics Manager**

T.E.Smith Transport & Logistics Ltd is a London, ON-based company that provides logistics solutions to the medical cannabis industry. We are looking for a Logistics Manager to help organize and oversee the daily operations of our logistics team. The Logistics Manager will be responsible for managing our logistics team and ensuring that our employees are productive, organized, and efficient in their work.

**Responsibilities**
- Manage the day-to-day operations of our logistics team.
- Oversee the scheduling of drivers and coordinate their routes.
- Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with drivers.
- Manage the inventory of all company equipment.
- Ensure drivers meet company delivery goals and standards.
- Ensure that all vehicles are in good working order and are ready to be picked up at pickup locations on time.
- Ensure that all trucks are stocked with all necessary items (e.g., supplies, equipment, etc.)and are available for pickup at pickup locations on time.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe working environment.
- Ensure that all employees follow safety guidelines to reduce risks of accidents and injuries.
- Provide feedback to management on any issues or problems encountered by drivers or other employees.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments (e.g., warehouse, production, etc.)and external customers (e.g., delivery drivers, suppliers, etc.)to ensure our operations remain efficient and profitable.

**Qualifications**
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in logistics or similar field is required. A Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field is preferred but not required.
- A background in logistics or transportation is helpful but not required. A background in customer service or warehouse management is helpful but not required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $50,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus pay
- Commission pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- London, ON N6H 3S2: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:
