You are responsible for the timely and efficient, management of our client's transportation needs and assisting with administrative functions for the processing and maintenance of pricing and driver settlements in accordance with Company policies and procedures
Key Responsibilities:
Maintains excellent working knowledge of products/services.
Answers all customer calls promptly and professionally.
Enters order-processing information quickly and accurately.
Promote the sale of company services to existing and potential clients, provide competitive solutions and pricing to meet and exceed customer's expectations. Respond within 10 minutes to any callbacks, messages or cancellations. Ensures customer satisfaction by handling all complaints or inquiries and referring them internally for action.
Assist and coach all drivers to meet maximum potential and train and assist with paperwork as needed.
Gathers details and documentation for Customs clearances and submits as needed to Customs Broker(s)
Assists Customs Brokers as needed to accommodate with efficient Customs clearances
Provide Operations Supervisor with information on equipment failures, problems and any client, assist and coach all drivers to meet maximum potential while maintaining delivery time specifications.
Identify and ensure all customers are given 100% performance on deliveries.
Ensure on-time work completion and prompt pick-up in accordance with established standards of service.
Close all orders with times and PODs upon delivery.
Liaisons with other departments to promote good working relationship in support of customer service.
When needed, provide warehouse assistance. Able to lift at least 30 lbs.
An excellent rapport with all staff, suppliers, drivers, clients and branches is critical and requires superior communication skills.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
