**WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR**

You will collaborate with a team that includes, but not limited too, to support content publishing needs for multiple clients
- Digital Project Manager
- Web Developers
- UI Designers

The Content Author is the individual who brings everything together & ensures that our client’s site content is published on-site, on-time, and in accordance with client brand guidelines & BIMM quality standards.

**RESPONSIBILTIES**
- Create and maintain content in multiple Content Management Systems ( CMS) for our clients websites.
- Collaborate with marketing and design teams to plan and develop site content, style and layout
- Crop / Compress / Transfer visual assets to Digital Asset Management Systems for use on client websites
- Practice Quality Assurance for the work of yourself and your peers
- Deploy / activate website content on a consistent schedule
- Liaise with content writers & product specialists to ensure accuracy & brand consistency
- Collaborate with developers to ensure that CMS components are able to support our content and accessibility requirements
- Manage a promotional and content calendar and ensure content timing is accurate and planned appropriately
- Optimize content according to SEO
- Ensure compliance with law (e.g. copyright, accessibility, data protection, and legal disclaimers)
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and generate new ideas to draw user’s attention

**REQUIREMENTS**

**Must have**:

- Impeccable attention to detail
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to problem-solve in both solo and collaborative situations
- A calm and patient demeanor under pressure
- BSc degree or diploma in Marketing, Digital Advertising, Business Administration or relevant field

**Nice to have**:

- Previous work experience as a Content manager/author
- Hands-on experience with MS Office, Photoshop, and content management platforms (Adobe Experience Manager, Contentful) is a plus
- Working knowledge of Issue tracking tools (ie: Jira) a plus
- Working knowledge of Corporate wiki tools (ie: Confluence) a plus
- Working knowledge of WCAG AA Accessibility standards a plus
- Basic technical knowledge of HTML and web publishing
- Knowledge of SEO and web traffic metrics
