The Human Resources Clerk is the face of HR This role provides clerical and reception services and contributes to the delivery of day-to-day HR Services and our Organizational Learning department in a fast-paced ever-changing environment.

**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Provides the highest level of customer service to all visitors, staff and others who attend HR.
- Triages calls and monitors the internal AskHR system, preparing employment letters and correspondence as required.
- Coordinates learning and staff recognition events.
- Coordinates bi-weekly corporate orientation ensuring attendance, packages and contents are accurate and informative.
- Assists recruitment by scheduling interviews, preparing interview packages, contacting applicants, completing paperwork and entering data into systems.
- Tracks, regularly audits and publishes corporate training records.
- Oversees the probationary review process.
- Issues employee and affiliate identification cards, keeping precise records.
- Maintains and analyzes statistical data as required for the support of Human Resources including recruitment surveys, statistical reports, etc.
- Provides administrative support to HR and Organizational Learning including but not limited to: filing, data management, meeting minutes and agendas, booking and coordinating meetings, supply orders and catering, preparing invoices and credit card statements for payment.
- Assists various HR projects and the HR/Learning Team as required.
**SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED**:
- Post-secondary diploma in Human Resources, Business or a related program from an accredited college or a related and relevant experience.
- Minimum three (3) years’ work experience in Human Resources with preference to those with relevant administrative and healthcare experience or those with related and relevant experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in Applicant Tracking Systems (Talent Pool Builder preferred) and Learning Management Systems (Dual Code preferred).
- Experience in event planning and adult learning methods an asset.
- Experience and extensive knowledge in all areas of HR practices with particular strengths in recruitment and workforce planning.
- Thorough knowledge of relevant legislation including the Employment Standards Act, Human Rights, AODA, and Collective Bargaining process.
- Ability to demonstrate a high degree of confidentiality, discretion, tact and an exceptional level of professionalism.
- Lean Yellow Belt Certification preferred.
- Advanced knowledge with HRIS Systems, Microsoft Office Software Programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Outlook.
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills with ability to positively influence others and develop trusting relationships.
- Advanced ability to establish rapport quickly and collaborate effectively.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic and results-orientated.
- Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to patient and staff safety.
- Excellent attendance and performance record.
