**Production Painter - Job description**

Store-Rite Systems has been in business since 1981 serving the Material Handling Industry. Store-Rite manufactures mezzanines, industrial fencing, and is an integrator of pallet racking and shelving systems.

We are located in Mississauga just to the West of Toronto’s Pearson Airport and operte in 30,000 sq ft of warehouse, production and office space.

**Job Title: Production Painter**

**, Permanent**

**Department: Manufacturing**

**Reports to: Production Supervisor**

**Core work hours: 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM**

**The following job description is intended to describe the general responsibilities and level of work expected, however it is not an exhaustive list of all duties and skills required for this job.**

**Primary Responsibilities and Duties**:
2. Review Material parts list to check quantities and colours

3. Prepare parts prior to paint to remove oils or other detriments to finish

4. Assist with movements of parts to and from the paint booth

5. Clean and maintain spraying equipment daily to maximize performance

6. Clean Paint booth system and replace Paint booth filters per published schedule

7. Mix primers and paints using supplied thinners per Store-Rite mixture ratios

8. Store any paint and thinners, when not in use, in fire proof lockers

9. Communicate any maintenance or other health and safety issue to the Head of Production

10. Assist with other shop work as time permits

11. Engage in other shop work for development purposes as time permits

12. Suggest any ideas for efficiency or quality improvements to the Head of Production

13. Communicate clearly and effectively verbally to Store-Rite and customers

14. Conduct all interactions with customers and Store-Rite employees in a professional and positive manner.

15. Conduct all business activity in congruence with all Ontario and Canadian laws and municipal by-laws.

**Professional and Technical Requirements**:
**A. Education**(any of the following)

A Diploma from an accredited Canadian High School.

**B. Experience**

Wage: $ 22 to $ 24 per hour
