Industrial Spray Painter

Our client in the Construction and Industrial Painting Services industry is currently hiring for Industrial Painters/Airless Spray Painters to join the growing team. This position reports to the Construction Supervisor.

**Job Summary**

A qualified Industrial Spray Painter/Airless Spray Painter plays a crucial role in maintaining the aesthetic and functional quality of industrial materials. He is a professional who specializes in **painting various industrial materials using specialized equipment such as HVLP spray guns or conventional spray painters to paint steels in covered fabrication yard**.

**Job responsibilities as an Industrial Spray Painter/Airless Spray Painter are the following**:

- **Preparing Surfaces**: They prepare surfaces for painting, which may involve cleaning and smoothing the surfaces
- **Maintaining Equipment**: They are responsible for maintaining technical equipment for the job and ensuring that they are in working order
- **Quality Control**: They ensure the quality of the job is up to company standards
- **Safety Standards**: They ensure high safety standards are met, including safely disposing of chemical waste
- **Special Techniques**: They may utilize different painting techniques based on the nature of the surface.
- **Physical Strength**: The job often requires physical strength to operate machinery and standing in long hours.

**What we are looking for**:

- Good organizational skills and attention to detail are also important for this role, as they often need to ensure that the paint is applied evenly and without blemishes.
- **Owns a reliable vehicle with Canadian driver’s license and clean driving abstract.**:

- Minimum 2 years of experience in Industrial/spray painting, metal painting, airless painting or related occupations.
- Self-starter with proven ability to work with mínimal supervision.
- Great organizational skills related to maintain assets, travel and prioritizing workload to gain the best impact on productivity.
- Manage and maintain FJ Construction’s assets and expenses i.e.: _spray painting apparels._
- Team player who can work with all levels of the organization
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- Able to travel to site locations
- Able to work flexible hours including weekends _(if needed/necessary)_

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $20.00-$26.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- On call
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed
