**Job Summary**

Vista Collaborative Health Inc., in partnership with Southern Alberta Surgical Centre, is currently seeking a full-time Medical Office Assistant (MOA), starting immediately.

Our clinic partners with physicians and nurse practitioners specializing in hepatology, gastroenterology, and internal medicine. Working collaboratively, we provide a holistic model of care that prioritizes the overall health and well-being of our patients.

**Qualifications**
- ≥2 years of MOA experience (preferred).
- Medical Office Assistant certification is highly preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with attention to detail.
- Desire to work with diverse patients requiring clinical and surgical management.
- Previous experience with Accuro EMR and Connect Care (Epic) is an asset

**Duties and Responsibilities Include but are not limited to**
- Greeting patients upon arrival, providing excellent customer service and problem solving when necessary.
- Receive and communicate patient messages to clinic staff.
- Schedule appointments, procedures, and follow-ups.
- Review clinical notes to ensure continuity of patient care for referrals, investigations, etc.
- Complete insurance claims and maintain confidential patient information, such as medical results and case histories, with electronic medical record software (Accuro).
- Manage invoices and financial statements.
- Manage clinic shipping, receiving and filing.
- Perform basic disinfection and decontamination of equipment and exam rooms if needed.

- MOA: 2 years (preferred)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $21.00 per hour
