**The Opportunity - Medical Office Assistant (MOA)**

We are currently seeking a **motivated and reliable Medical Office Assistant** to join our team at the **Montgomery Clinic**. In this full-time role, you will primarily support our **Family Practice (GP)** while also assisting with **Neurology services**. You will be cross-trained to support other clinical areas within the clinic, making this a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced, and patient-centered environment.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Be the welcoming first point of contact for patients both in-person and by phone.
- Coordinate and book appointments for Family Practice and Neurology, among other Providers.
- Support physicians with patient flow, intake, and follow-up coordination.
- Maintain accurate and organized patient records.
- Collaborate with clinic staff and specialists to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Assist in cross-functional tasks such as incoming referrals, document handling such as faxing consult letters, booking new consultations and follow up appointments, and supporting other departments as needed.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient clinic environment.
- Deliver professional, respectful, and compassionate care to all patients.

**What You Bring**
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Completion of a Medical Office Assistant certificate or diploma is an asset.
- Minimum 1 -2 year of experience in a medical office or healthcare setting.
- Experience with EMR systems (Med Access strongly preferred).
- Comfortable learning new systems and adapting to a multi-specialty clinic environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cohesive team.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Positive attitude, flexible mindset, and a strong work ethic.

Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
