**JOB SUMMARY**:
The Assistant Food and Beverage Outlets Manager is responsible for the supervision of day to day Club food and beverage services while ensuring the experience is at a consistently high level.

**RESPONSIBILTIES**:

- In collaboration with the Food and Beverage Manager, the Assistant Food and Beverage manager will ensure the standards for the Food and Beverage department are being upheld.
- Manage the daily operations of the various outlets, including staffing, ordering, inventory and scheduling.
- Set a tone of consummate professionalism for the department, ensuring the team is knowledgeable and consistent.
- Be highly visible during meal periods, meeting and greeting members and guests in the outlets and constantly engaging in quality checks to ensure satisfaction.
- Ensure duties of all front of house Food and Beverage staff, including thorough mise-en-place and daily opening and closing duties, are being completed on a daily basis.
- Be vigilant, ensuring areas are maintained, with regular cleaning schedules and inspections established.
- Take a leadership role in supporting activities driving staff and member engagement and recognition.
- Assist in recruitment and onboarding of new employees as required.
- Involved with and responsible for overseeing numerous events including assisting with administrative work relating to banquets and catering.
- Develop promotions that will drive sales for the various food and beverage outlets.
- Monitor new product launches, provide feedback on menus, and recommend changes as appropriate.
- Have financial responsibilities such as payroll submission, cash-out procedures and annual budgeting.
- Respond promptly and courteously to member inquiries, requests and complaints.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Post-secondary education in the area of Food and Beverage or equivalent experience in Food and Beverage operations
- 2+ years of experience in food and beverage, ideally with both restaurant and banquet experience
- The position requires strong communication skills, superior organizational skills and a customer service focus.
- Experience in high quality volume operations
- Have the ability to stay organized and demonstrate clear and concise communication
- Knowledge of food and beverage trends, service, and presentation standards
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required
- Valid Food Safe Certification and Serving it Right Certification
- Experience in planning and executing events, including weddings and corporate events, is an asset
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage billing and invoicing
- Ability to work effectively with team members of different departments
- Must hold work authorization for Canada at the time of applying
