Job Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Line Cook to join our team part time (15-30hrs). As a Line Cook/Prep cook, you will be responsible for assisting in food preparation, cooking, and ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for food and a desire to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

**Duties**:

- Assist in food preparation and cooking according to recipes and standards
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies.
- Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, and measuring them accurately.
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff.
- Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, and appliances.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Monitor inventory levels and report any shortages to the supervisor.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a Line Cook/Prep Cook in a casual fine dining environment.
- Knowledge of food handling, preparation, and service techniques.
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. (Safe Food Handlers)
- Previous experience with Italian cuisine.
- Minimum 2 years experience culinary experience.
- Fluent in English language.
