The **Manager, Accounting** will take on the role of providing assistance to the Controller in managing the Accounting Department. Being involved in the day-to-day accounting operations and being cross trained on all functions. Providing critical thinking supported by sound analytics in the company’s accounting management.
**Responsibilities**:
- The Manager Accounting, reporting to the Controller, will assist the controller in managing the accounting group as well as performing specific accounting functions;
- In the first 30-45 days, while assisting the Controller, the main function will be to learn the accounting cycles and systems at BOT including but not limited to: Sales, invoicing and accounts receivable; Payables, lien payments and cash disbursements; Equipment and capital assets accounting and tracking; Cost input and data capture; and Payroll systems.
- In the end, the Manager Accounting will ultimately be responsible for assisting the Controller in the: management of the accounting group; management of payroll; analytics; preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual reporting; assistance and support of the audit and other statutory reporting processes.
**Requirements**:
- CPA/CA, with a preference for additional experience outside of the audit group
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office; and good verbal and written communication skills.
- 5 years experience working within a full cycle accounting department
