**Job Description**:
AECOM is seeking a Requirements Management Specialist to join our Transit & Rail Systems Team to work with multidisciplinary teams delivering an existing portfolio of projects.
Desirable Criteria
+ Coordinate and execute the Requirements Management process on current and future projects as per Systems Engineering Life Cycle processes such as ISO 15288
+ Coordinate requirements management processes with all other disciplines such as Civil, M&E, Architecture, Rail Systems etc. throughout the project lifecycle. Coordinate with disciplines to collect objective evidence against project requirements.
+ Coordinate the definition, development, decomposition, and derivation of requirements to ensure stakeholder needs has been achieved
+ Set up and management of requirements management tools such as DOORS NG, ensure traceability of all project requirements and V&V processes.
+ Performs quality control
+ Participate in the development of, and implement System Engineering plans and processes, and ensure project teams operate in accordance with those plans and processes, such as the Requirements Management Plan and Interface Management Plan.
+ Review and confirm that the V&V acceptance criteria are appropriate and complete
+ Prepare and maintain interface matrices, interface registers, Interface Control Documents (ICDs), to follow the Interface Management Plans (IMPs).
+ Perform as an independent requirements QA verifier
+ Able to elucidate the discipline of Systems Engineering and its techniques and processes
+ Develop and maintain liaison with the wider Systems Engineering and Systems Assurance network and individuals within and outside of the organization as well as with client’s engineering, assurance, and project teams.
+ Reporting to Manager level and works under mínimal supervision. Supervision received is essentially administrative with assignments given in terms of broad general objectives and limits.
**Qualifications**:
**Minimum Requirements**:
+ Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline + 4 years of experience in Systems Engineering OR Technical Diploma + 6 years of experience in Systems Engineering OR Highschool + 6 years of relevant experience in Systems Engineering in Rail
+ 4+ years experience with requirements management tools such as IBM DOORS / ComplyPro etc.
+ 4+ years experience with projects and their design lifecycles
+ Driving License
**Preferred Qualifications**:
+ Used to implement and work under the principles of following standards: IEEE 1220, ISO 15288 + 24748 + 29148: Systems Engineering Life Cycle processes & Requirements management.
+ INCOSE certified
+ Familiarity with EN50126 and FTA SCC
+ 12 years’ experience is ideal in Systems Engineering
+ Familiar with working with Engineering and System Engineering and Assurance teams, and experience in identifying Safety and Security requirements and link hazards and mitigation evidence.
+ Experience working on Railway Project
