**Position Overview**:
As a Quality Assurance Inspector, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the reputation of our brand by meticulously inspecting our jewellery products. You will be responsible for identifying defects, discrepancies, and imperfections, ensuring that products meet our specifications. Your keen eye for detail and commitment to excellence will contribute to upholding our reputation for consistent quality in the jewellery industry.
**Responsibilities**:
- Conduct detailed inspections of jewellery including: diamonds, gemstones, metals, and settings, to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Utilize precision measurement tools and techniques to verify dimensions, tolerances, and specifications of jewellery components.
- Document inspection results, maintain accurate records, and generate quality reports to track and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
**Qualifications**:
- Graduate Gemologist Degree
- Proficiency in using inspection tools and equipment, such as calipers, micrometres, and gemological equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify subtle defects or discrepancies in jewellery pieces.
- Previous experience in quality assurance or inspection roles within the jewellery industry is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- High level of integrity, reliability, and dedication to upholding quality standards.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
