You will be required to use JD Edwards and other related systems.Job Type: Fixed term contractContract length: 3 monthsWork Location: In personPrimary ResponsibilitiesAnswer both vendor and internal queriesReview, verify, and enter all invoicesTrack and process expense reports in compliance with company’s policies and proceduresProcess cheque runs, and organize mailing to vendors and contractors in a timely mannerPost and reconcile accounts payable transactionsMonitor and conduct analysis on accounts to ensure payments are up to dateCorrespond with vendors and respond to inquiries to resolve invoice discrepancies and issuesAssist with month end closing and reportsProvide supporting documentation for auditsSkills And Qualifications3+ years’ experience in an Accounts Payable positionExposure to multi-currency payables as well as 1099 experience is considered an assetComputer Proficiency using the Microsoft Office Suite (Intermediate Level in Excel)Experience utilizing JD Edwards Enterprise One 9.2 software is considered an assetStrong attention to detail, accuracy, organizational and administrative abilitiesSelf-motivated to complete tasks both in a team and individual settingWilling to take on additional duties as requiredAbility to take initiative to continuously review and improve the processes and information within the department and companyHigh level of customer service and communication skillsAbility to effectively manage time and priorities to meet deadlinesAbout UsAlta Genetics is a global leader in the production, marketing, and distribution of beef and dairy cattle genetics worldwide, with retail operations in 14 markets and partners in more than 55 wholesale markets.
