Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.- Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.- Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of two accounting professionals.- Collaborate with global accounting partners in order to accomplish company wide goals.- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.- Manage and coordinate external audits.- Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains within the accounting function.- Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and financial regulations.- Provide support in M&A and new company integrations.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA certification is preferred.- 5-10 years of progressive accounting experience.- 1+ years of experience in a management or supervisory role.- In-depth knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and financial reporting.- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

This role is hybrid (2-3 days in the office/week) - based in New York City, NY.

Salary Range: $120,000 - $135,000K/year USD
