AtkinsRéalis is hiring a hiring a **Procurement Specialist** to join our growing team based in **Vancouver, British Columbia.**

**Your role within the team**:

- Work collaboratively with the project team in the development of all procurement project related documentation.
- Work within both internal and external client systems and processes, including automated workflows and approval chains.
- Initiate, issue and administer purchase orders and contracts through predetermined procedures, while ensuring compliance with procurement requirements, policies, and procedures.
- Develop Procurement Strategies, Contracting Plans, RFx packages, conformed contract documentation and other requests.
- Prepare purchase recommendations and communicate regularly with clients to secure approvals for purchase in accordance with established procedures.
- Placing orders and maintaining all documents to monitor suppliers’ performance and conformance to commercial terms, including prepare formal amendments for approved changes and manage, prepare, issue and control request for changes.
- Receive and evaluate bids, as well as develop new sources of supply and inventory forecasts.

- Three to five years of practical experience in a similar role and diploma or degree in a related field is required Demonstrated ability in standard procurement procedures and practices, along with knowledge of the construction processes by which engineering projects are undertaken.
- Developed knowledge of procurement processes, systems, techniques, sourcing strategy, supplier management and contract management.
- Experienced in preparing and issuing reports and relevant documentation, with comprehension of contractual Terms and Conditions in conjunction with established procurement policies.
- Exceptional verbal and written English language communication skills.
- Working towards or attaining certification with relevant organizations such as IoSCM, APICS, PMAC or similar is an asset.
- Proficient in use of MS Office products such as, Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint, knowledge of Project ERP systems (SAP, Oracle etc.) is an asset.
- Expected compensation for this role is between Pay Range $78,000 - $104,000 annually. Base salaries are determined according to several parameters like skills, experience, and potential impact on the role. Internal and external competitiveness are also taken into account in our offers._
