**Position Status**: Full Time (32-40 hours/week) Seasonal, Hourly

Seasonal positions can be differentiated from year round jobs as they have predefined start and end dates. These dates may vary due to seasonal business fluctuations.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- To continually strive to exceed our Guest’s expectations, ensuring the highest quality service
- Be the main leader for running Whistler Heli-Skiing rental hut and ground operations
- Training of new seasonal staff on rental fleet and ground operations
- Keep processes and procedures up to date and proactively communicating with reporting manager and staff
- Maintaining a positive attitude: leading by example, supporting our core values and a positive work ethic
- Opening and closing of seasonal operations
- Greet every guest that enters the Powder Hut
- Ensure that the guests accurately complete rental forms
- Be familiar with heli-skiing rental products, recommend ski or snowboard type to guest and ensure accurate setting of ski/board bindings
- Check all returned equipment for damage and maintain all equipment in good condition
- Working with rental manager to test equipment of injured skiers
- Maintain cleanliness of Powder Hut and proper storage of all equipment
- Perform daily ground duties including bathroom trailer & heliport building maintenance
- Open Powder Hut by completing pre-trip inspections of all vehicles, placing rented equipment in ski racks and setting up any morning rentals
- Insure as many WHS vehicles are in service as possible at all times
- Report any out of service vehicles immediately to WB Fleet Maintenance
- Communicate and follow up with WB Fleet Maintenance for vehicle repair
- Pick up repaired vehicles
- Shuttle vehicles as required
- Pick up guests at various staging areas when needed, including transportation of injured guests to clinic and follow WHS injured guest policy
- Monitor and respond to radio calls
- Maintain snow and ice removal at Powder Hut, ensuring safety of guests & staff
- Always make sure the safe environment of the property, locking & arming buildings
- Assist administration to the Manager of Grounds Support
- Participate in maintaining our rental facility including some paint work and small carpentry work
- Stay on top of weather change, plan ahead and be flexible

**Requirements**:

- Satisfactory criminal record check.

- Class 4 BC Driver’s license is MUST
- Proof of clear NSC driving abstract
- A team player with a positive, can-do attitude
- A professional and responsible approach to problem solving, taking responsibility of discovered issues
- Always show up on time, in uniform, and adhere to the grooming policy
