We supply a vast range of chef-created sauces and dressings for meal kits, frozen meals, restaurant entrees and salads and salad kits. Reporting to the Director of Sales and Marketing, the Inside Sales representative assists other members of the sales team by handling remote interactions with customers. Maintaining customer satisfaction is their primary goal, and they spend much of their time responding to inquiries, helping with issues, and providing updates on requests while looking for new sales opportunities. This position will be responsible for assisting in the timely movement of product to meet contractual commitments and customer needs.
This position will collaborate with R&D, Quality and the site’s 3PL’s to ensure service targets are met.

**Roles & Responsibilities**:

- Build relationships with customers by proactively following up on their satisfaction with company services and addressing inquiries and concerns.
- Relaying information and coordinating with internal teams to solve issues.
- Qualify potential buyers by contacting inbound leads
- Create new opportunities with existing customers by pitching relevant products or services.
- Coordinate with customers about order specific details
- Update information in the company’s customer relationship management (CRM) software.
- Responsible for customer portal setups, entering information and keeping portals up to date
- Manage GS1 product information for certain customers
- Assist with listing sheets and customer set up forms
- Identify risks and opportunities in summary and forecast reports for Account Manager.
- Liaison with operations, sales, warehousing, carriers and customers
- Maintain freight rate information database
- Overseeing sales process and facilitating order fulfilment.
- Handling complaints and concerns with customers
- Assist sales team with special projects, preparation of presentations, and custom reports

**Skills, Experience and Education**:

- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in business
- 2-4 years related experience
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office - Excel and Word; Salesforce preferred
- Strong analytical, organizational, interpersonal and follow-up skills
- Ability to prioritize critical tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Experience in coordinating projects
