Warehouse Coordinator

Oakville, Canada Bunge Full time

This position is responsible for all aspects of shipping packaged product from our Edmonton outside warehouse, working closely with the third-party warehouse, our truck carriers and customer service.

Position works from Oakville warehouse office.

Core Functions:

- Participate in proactive safety program
- Point person for day-to-day shipping functions for Edmonton facility
- Submit orders to warehouse by EDI through SAP business system
- Outbound orders that don’t process automatically
- Utilize Blujay transportation management system for all freight arranged by Bunge.
- Coordinate truck loads to maximize freight costs
- Check load tenders for accuracy and ensure all special instructions are followed
- Code all orders that did not ship as scheduled accordingly
- Send daily shipping report to warehouse
- Work closely with CSR’s to manage orders
- Work closely with outside warehouse
- Monitor daily shipments
- Support Oakville warehouse operations as needed
- Other duties as required

Skill/Experience Requirements:

- Minimum High School Diploma with 2-3 years related experience in a manufacturing environment preferred (distribution/inventory/supply chain/manufacturing)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a team and collaborative environment
- Computer literacy required for Microsoft Office, and SAP and Blujay.
