**SUMMARY DESCRIPTION**
This position performs a wide range of duties that support general operations of Minitube Canada. This variety includes some front office administrative tasks, customer service tasks, and warehouse operations including order fulfillment and receiving. This position will support the General Manager with the goal of being able to perform many tasks in parallel or as the primary backup to the General Manager.
Staff in this position must be flexible and enjoy the wide variety of tasks in all areas of activity.
**QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS**
- Proficient with the MS Office suite of products.
- Organized and effective with detailed administrative tasks
- Effective communication skills (written and verbal).
- Work history showing performance accomplishments and significant responsibilities.
- Some post high school formal training and/or significant on the job experience in areas related to the primary duties of this position.
- Develops positive relationships with co-workers and customers.
- Be able to perform all of the tasks including the physical requirements of the warehouse.
**ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- First point of contact of incoming phone calls, provide customer service support to customer calls including receiving and reporting customer complaints.
- Perform full range of tasks in order fulfillment including communicating customer orders to shipping, picking and packing orders and preparing for shipment.
- Do any necessary administrative work including filing reports or presenting sales team with necessary documents.
- Assist sales team arrange necessary activities for trade fairs that the company attends.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as necessary.
- Invoice customers, process customer payments, make bank deposits.
- Work with and maintain confidential information, trade secrets and proprietary company information.
- As part of the staff at Minitube, share ideas and improve operations, recommending, supporting, and implementing continuous improvement activities, process, and procedure improvements to optimize results and improve quality of product.
- Promote and adhere to safety in the workplace. Follow safe work practices and adhere to health and safety regulations. Promote safety awareness and participate in safety training programs. Correct unsafe acts and conditions and ensure equipment is properly maintained. Report all accidents/ incidents. Inspect own area and take remedial action to minimize or eliminate hazards. Complete required training assignments, forms, and other paperwork.
**PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES**

- Follow up with customers as needed to confirm satisfaction with products and services.
- Complete work accurately, meeting date and time deadlines.
- Actively support company values.
- Participate in company meetings and events.
- Professionally represent Minitube in all areas of work activity.
- Assist in meeting cost objectives for department operations.
**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS**
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
- The employee frequently is required to sit, stand, walk, reach with hands or arms, lift files, and operate a computer.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust to focus.
- This employee must be able to unassisted, frequently and repetitively lift and/or move up to 30-40 pounds, containers and packages that are large, uneven shapes and weights, and lift up to 50 pounds periodically.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license without significant restrictions.
**WORK ENVIRONMENT**
- This role operates in a professional office environment with warehousing operations within the same facility.
- This role requires moving throughout the entire facility to work with other staff and to perform all the tasks of this position.
- This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copy machines, filing cabinets and fax machines.
**ADDITIONAL NOTES**
Travel: Some travel as needed to attend a trade show, meeting, or customer site, may require overnight stay. Travel to Minitube USA for training. Able to utilize all methods of transportation including car, airplane, train, bus, etc.
