**Position Details**
- The University of Lethbridge is seeking a full-time, continuing position as Manager, Development & Sales.

The Manager, Development and Sales, reporting directly to the Executive Director, Athletics and Recreation is responsible for achieving fundraising goals for Pronghorn Athletics and Horns Recreation through sponsorships, advertising sales and fund development with donors.

**Major Responsibilities**:

- 1. **Revenue Generation Through Advertising Sponsorships & Donations**
Develop, manage advertising sponsorships overseeing locations, costs, creatives, and installations. Implement strategies of growth and fundraising targets to support department and varsity team financial needs.
- 2. **Alumni Relations**

Collaborate with Director of Alumni and other departments to ensure awareness of Pronghorn alumni campaigns and events to grow the alumni base and profile of the university.

3. **Reporting & Data Input**
- Utilize CRM software to manage leads, prospects, track sales activities and analyze customer data.
- Collect and handle donations received and ensure proper direction of funding.
- Work closely with External Relations Database Information Specialist to ensure accurate and complete Pronghorn alumni database records.

4. **Relationship Building and Stewardship**
- Create and implement a comprehensive donor/sponsor relations and stewardship program that appropriately and consistently promotes interaction with recognition of donors at all levels to maintain and deepen philanthropic relationships.

The University of Lethbridge is undertaking a job classification and compensation review for Administrative Professional Officer (APO) positions. As such, the salary range currently assigned for this position may be adjusted as a result of this project.

**Position Qualifications**
- Education Bachelor’s Degree - B Management
- Major in Marketing & Advertising Experience
- Years of Experience should be 3-5 years in sales or fund development.
- A valid unrestricted Class 5 Driver’s License with no more than 6 demerits and submission of a motor vehicle record (driver abstract) dated within 3 months of the posting close is required.

**Starting Salary Range (at 1.0 FTE)**
- $63,255.50 - $79,575.80 annually

**Full Salary Range (at 1.0 FTE)**
- $63,255.50 - $95,896.11 annually (APO - Grade 3)
