We are seeking an **Outbound Transportation Analyst **. The Outbound Transportation Analyst maximizes the efficiency of outbound freight and local delivery spend for NTD Distribution Centers through the use of data and modeling while supporting the company’s sales, service and operational goals and objectives. Utilizing tools to analyze data and provide reports and metrics to ensure objectives are achieved, participate in process improvements and cost saving initiatives while possessing the ability to identify and resolve situations timely and accurately. Finally, communicate departmental goals effectively with the Support Centre and Distribution Centre (DC) team members and work closely with finance and sales to align corporate goals.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Conduct the necessary analysis to drive best in class delivery to customers
- Communicate in an effective, timely manner, with DC personnel to resolve outbound transportation related opportunities.
- Participate in process improvements and cost saving initiatives while possessing the ability to identify and resolve situations timely and accurately.
- Establish relationships with 3rd party carriers and freight bill audit and payment organizations gaining business process improvements through the use of mutually developed reports.
- Communicate departmental goals effectively with Head Office and DC team members. Work closely with finance and sales to align corporate goals.
- Identify gaps and provides sustainable options for continuous business improvement. Continuously seek process and business improvements and provide sustainable recommendations
- Work on other special projects focused on cost reductions, capacity planning and service improvements and other tasks as assigned.
- Assist in developing strategic business initiatives as NTD leverages volumes to drive competitive advantage.

**Experience that Best Prepares You**:

- Minimum five (5) years’ in Logistics/Supply Chain experience with a large company, within the automotive, consumer packaged goods (CPG), retail or distribution.
- University degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Statistics, or a related discipline is required.

- Proven ability to manage and organize large amounts of data
- MS Excel - advanced user (pivot tables/charts, vlookup etc.)
- Working knowledge of Power BI
