**JOB OPPORTUNITY: Logistics Coordinator**

**The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of supply chain management, ensuring the flow of materials and final products to customers.**

**Principle Duties and Responsibilities**
- ** Resolve clearance exceptions and queries from custom brokers to ensure smooth flow of parts both inbound (Canada) and outbound (USA).**:

- ** Review and maintain HS classification codes on file.**:

- ** Prepare customs documents (Commercial Invoice, Packing List, CERS)**:

- ** Coordinate with freight forwarders to move shipments inbound and outbound.**:

- **Maintain an ongoing shipment schedule on inbound shipments and provide updates in daily production meetings.**:

- ** Obtain freight quotes from freight forwarders.**:

- ** Understand and follow export and import procedures.**:

- ** Working knowledge of AS400 and SAP enterprise software.**:

- ** Follow safety standards and procedures along with company policies and procedures at all times.**

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**
- ** Experience managing service relationships with custom brokers and freight forwarders. (required)**:

- ** Knowledge of Incoterms (required).**:

- ** Experience coordinating the transportation of oversized shipments is an asset.**:

- ** Knowledge of UPS, FedEx and other common carriers**:

- ** Ability to work independently and as a strong team member.**:

- ** Excellent verbal and written communication skills.**:

- ** Strong MsOffice computer skills**:

- ** Strong prioritization and organization skills.**

Education and Experience_**
- ** Relevant post secondary education**:

- ** Five (5)+ years international transportation experience.**:

- ** Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) designation an asset.**
