We are looking for a **Personal Lines Practice Specialist **to join our team The Personal Lines Practice Specialist will be responsible for managing personal lines insurance policies, assisting clients with policy inquiries and claims, as well as providing exceptional customer service.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide service for clients in your portfolio, for all inquiries and/or problems, new business, renewals, endorsements and cancellations
- Respond to all telephone calls directed to you (directly or relayed by reception), as well as completing any immediately resulting work. Personal Lines Practice Specialists may receive calls from other colleagues' sections, and should respond to the client’s immediate request and communicate regarding their actions with the assigned individual
- Meet with your clients who visit the office, as well as clients from other sections if the assigned team member is unavailable. No client is to be kept waiting**.**:

- Nurture positive professional relationships with Insurers, balancing the clients' best interests with respect for Insurers' underwriting standards and binding authority
- Review pending renewals and consult with clients regarding their options. Advise and offer clients all available cover, especially where existing cover is limited and/or not in accordance with minimum standards as established by FCA management. All discussions to be documented in Acturis.
- Advise clients of Insurers' underwriting concerns or requirements, and negotiate to obtain the best possible terms of cover for the client.
- Provide accurate and timely direction to TA’s for processing documents and creating client communications, following FCA standard processes.
- Develop your portfolio by quoting and closing business with existing clients, and generating other quality new business within FC&A management guidelines. Offer mono-line clients quotations for other coverage requirements; noting expiry dates to add follow-ups for future quotes.
- Inform clients of services offered by our affiliate organization, FCA Benefits, and provide referral information as requested by clients
- Expiry lists, exclusion reports and follow-up reports are run regularly and must be reviewed thoroughly and promptly, in collaboration with TA’s. (Follow-ups also appear on the main 'Home Base')
- Ensure that liability certificates and/or binders are sent out on late renewals, if documents not received and processed within 10 days of expiry
- Manage Accounts Receivable in your portfolio, with an overall goal of avoiding any accounts receivable over 30 days; for example, ensuring that payment arrangements are made prior to binding; maximizing direct bill options; requesting partial payment from clients when changes are pending; following up with Insurers for credits and taking credits as soon as possible; monitoring renewal payment letters in your section, following up promptly and lapsing within 30 days if necessary
- Prompt client notification of impending Direct Bill due dates and amounts
- Other duties as needed and requested by senior management

**Qualifications**
- Experience in the insurance industry, particularly with personal lines insurance
- Strong knowledge of insurance policies, coverage, and claims processes
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Must have a RIBO license
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Proficient in computer software and systems related to insurance management
