As a Service Coordinator & Caregiver for Home Instead (ob 3337989 Nova Scotia Limited), your time will be shared between working in the office and working out in the field visiting clients. While in the office you will organize schedules and create great matches between our caregivers and clients. When visiting clients, you will enhance the lives of our clients by assisting them with activities of daily living.

Job Requirements
- Own vehicle and valid driver's licence are required for this role
- Must demonstrate sound judgment and decision-making skills
- CCA certification is an asset but not required

**While in the office you will**:

- Ensure outstanding customer service by scheduling and coordinating care
- Participate in overnight/on-call duties 1-2 evenings per week and every 4-5th weekend

While visiting clients you will assist them with activities of daily living:

- Personal care
- Companionship and conversation
- Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
- Medication and appointment reminders
- Accompanying clients to appointments
- Dementia and Alzheimer's support
- Mobility/Transfer assistance
- Palliative Care
