**Overview**:
**Duties**:

- Record financial transactions, such as journal entries, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports as required.
- Perform account reconciliations and support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Assist in managing general ledger functions and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations and tax requirements.
- Prepare and file payroll tax returns, W-2s, 1099s, and other compliance-related documents.
- Maintain organized payroll and financial records, safeguarding confidentiality and data integrity.
- Work closely with HR, Finance, and other departments to ensure seamless payroll and financial operations.
- Support audits by providing accurate and timely payroll and accounting data.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and other financial analysis tasks as needed.
- Process payroll on a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly basis, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Calculate wages, benefits, deductions, taxes, and adjustments as required.
- Address payroll discrepancies, inquiries, and resolve employee concerns regarding payments.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- **Experience**: Minimum 2-3 years in payroll administration and accounting, preferably in a similar role.
- **Knowledge**: Familiarity with payroll software, accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or ADP), and MS Office, especially Excel.
- Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and general accounting principles.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in payroll calculations.
- Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially and maintain discretion at all times.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with employees at all levels within the organization.
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field is preferred but not required.
