**Job Purpose**:
Receiving Supervisors work in a warehouse environment and making sure received items are handled efficiently. Their duties include handling stock, training employees, assigning duties, developing work procedures, maintaining the receiving area clean and organized, and implementing record-keeping procedures.

**Knowledge & Skills**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or related field
- 3 or more years in supervisory role in a field related to our industry
- At least 3 years experience in shipping/receiving preferably in the food/produce industry
- Organization and prioritizing skills
- Attention to detail and time management
- Strong working knowledge of industry regulations and legal guidelines

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Manage all receiving operations, including unloading and sorting of deliveries
- Ensure that all incoming shipments are accurately and promptly processed
- Supervise and train receiving staff
- Monitor the accuracy of all receiving records, including inventory and stock levels
- Maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment
- Identify and resolve receiving and inventory discrepancies
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth and accurate operations
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize processes
- Work closely with Human Resources to lead the team with integrity and to establish and maintain a trusting, inclusive, and productive environment

**Health and safety Responsibilities**:

- Report hazards, incidents, and injuries to the supervisor
- Follow safe work procedures and rules
- Not use or operate any equipment or work in a way that may endanger any worker
- Use personal protective equipment and clothing as directed by the employer
- Report to the supervisor any known missing or defective equipment or protective device
- Not engage in any prank, contest, feat of strength, unnecessary running, or rough and boisterous conduct

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
