We’re currently hiring a **Receiving Associate** to support our warehouse operations. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys physical work, takes pride in accuracy, and values a fast-paced team environment.

**Job Purpose**:
The Receiving Associate is responsible for the accurate and efficient unloading, inspection, and organization of incoming shipments of produce and materials. This role is essential to maintaining inventory accuracy, product quality, and timely flow of goods within our cold storage warehouse.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Unload produce and goods from delivery trucks using pallet jacks or forklifts
- Sort, stage, and organize incoming products for inspection and storage
- Identify and report damaged or poor-quality items during unloading
- Follow FIFO (First-In, First-Out) protocols for product rotation
- Safely transport received goods to designated cooler or dry storage areas
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe receiving docks
- Accurately place pallets in designated zones
- Operate warehouse equipment safely, following all procedures
- Adhere to food safety and health & safety regulations at all times
- Report any issues or unsafe conditions to the supervisor

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- **6 months to 1 year of experience in receiving or warehouse operations produce experience preferred**. **(Requested)**:

- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and team-player attitude
- Ability to work under pressure and meet time-sensitive goals
- Good communication skills
- Forklift certification is an asset (training available if needed)

**Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
- Comfortable working in cold environments (coolers and freezers)
- Frequent bending, lifting, pushing, and pulling

**Work Conditions**
- Warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures.
- Physical work requiring lifting, moving, and standing for extended periods.
