Shafer-Haggart Ltd., located in Vancouver, BC, is an international wholesaler to the food service and retail grocery industry.

We are looking to hire a Database and Network Administrator to work alongside our users to deliver responses and solutions to our business partners that are timely, accurate and concise.
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Maintenance of office security programs including network scans (anti-malware and firewall).
- Maintenance and replacement of computer hardware, office equipment, warranties, and licensing.
- Data management - archiving, back up, cleaning up directory files.
- Monitoring security and server health working closely with our MSP to troubleshoot issues and plan server upgrades and updates.
- Onboarding and removal of employees’ network access.
- Assist with basic business services such as Microsoft Office, Windows, printers, and mobile devices.
- Work directly with end users and MSP support to resolve IT issues, such as password reset, software questions, PC hardware problems, Internet connectivity, configurations, A/V meeting rooms, phones.
- Work on project to upgrade and/or replace SAP SME software.
- Develop training packages and work with end users.
- SQL Reports and query building.
- EDI monitoring, coordinating new customers and processes with SPS commerce or other service provider.
**Qualifications**:
- Proven minimum of 2+ years working in a similar role.
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Good working knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office.
- Experience working with SAP SME or with Dynamics 365 Business Central would be an asset.
- Ability to quickly learn technologies and products using documentation and internet resources.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Works well in a team and independently.
- Good communication skills with an ability to explain technical information to non-technical people.
**Salary**: $100,000.00-$130,000.00 per year
