Tower Research Capital, a high-frequency proprietary trading firm founded in 1998, seeks a Human Resources Business Partner to join the Montreal office.
**Generalist Responsibilities**
- Managing all generalist tasks for the office including onboarding, employee relations, performance management, offboarding and other areas as needed
- Acting as the first point of contact for employee inquiries for Montreal office
- Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with the global HR team, sharing best practices, identifying opportunities for global consistency, and process improvements
- Leading Francization efforts to ensure compliance with local requirements
- Working closely with the Office Management and culture and events team to initiate and implement culture and events programs for the region
- Partnering with the global HR Team on a variety of projects including L&D initiatives, performance review and other year end processes, succession planning, and organizational development initiatives

**Talent Acquisition Responsibilities**
- Partnering with hiring managers to build a comprehensive understanding of their needs and to lead multiple unique searches
- Managing full recruitment life cycle recruiting including sourcing, scheduling of interviews, offer extension, and contract generation

**Qualifications**
- A bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field
- At least 5 to 8 years of experience working in human resources
- Experience working in Montreal for a US based company preferred
