**Overview**

Events at Enjoy is hiring Event Security personnel to ensure events in the Moonflower Room and Glasshouse Kitchen|Bar, both located in the Enjoy Centre, are safe and secure.

The Enjoy Centre is a unique multi-use facility featuring a greenhouse, spa, cafe & restaurant, whole foods, bakery, events department and more Designed to blur the line between the indoors and out, the event spaces at The Enjoy Centre provide the perfect setting for wedding ceremonies and receptions, trade shows, galas, and more.
**The Role**
Events at Enjoy is looking for Event Security personnel to join the team This role serves as a significant resource for our entire building, providing a full range of responsibilities surrounding events and ensuring the safety and security of staff, clients, contractors, and members of the public.
- Providing a safe and welcoming environment for staff, guests and clients at events being held at the Enjoy Centre
- Responsible for monitoring assigned area during events
- Assisting with problems and situations that may arise for Enjoy Centre clients, guests, and staff
- Communicating and coordinating event related needs with other team members.
- Investigate, report and document incidents
- Must have a current ProServe certification.
- Must have a current ProTect certification.
- Preferred one (1) year security experience in a service-related industry.
- Ability to address individuals in a service-oriented manner and to perform their duties calmly under stressful circumstances.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Possess the ability to stand, walk and sit for significant periods of time. Physical ability will be important to this position as security guards often have to handle and transport materials that are over 25lbs.
- Solution oriented problem solving ability
- Ability to work events that may include days, nights, weekends, and occasionally holidays.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $17.00 per hour
