Business Development Advisor

As a business development advisor, you help serve, prospect for, solicit, and develop and maintain business relationships with members and clients. You help sell specialized products and services through multiple distribution channels based on member/client needs and current strategies and practices. You help develop and maintain business relationships with members and clients. You drive results by reviewing special information requests and promoting and selling specialized products based on client needs and your unit’s business objectives and strategies. You ensure member/client satisfaction and service quality in accordance with the organization’s standards and procedures. You help analyze member/client needs, develop and implement personalized solutions, and propose integrated service offers. You support current and potential members and clients, represent the organization and help negotiate agreements with clients. Interpersonal savvy is therefore essential. More specifically, you will be required to:
- Establish an advisory relationship by identifying current and potential needs and supporting client retention- Advise members and clients on specialized products, services and solutions and ensure member/client satisfaction. Analyze and meet special client needs, handle requests and follow up as needed- Collect, compile and analyze data. Prepare recommendations. Finalize contracts, reports and other administrative documents- Stay on top of the latest standards, products and services in your field

What you bring to the table- General college diploma in a related field- A minimum of two years of relevant experience- Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered- Knowledge of French is required- Advanced knowledge of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients
