**What you’ll be doing**:

- Assist with full-cycle recruitment for all Ontario positions and support for our offices and work from home solutions
- Assist with employee onboarding and orientation processes
- Assist HR Management with employee relations, terminations and any issues or concerns
- Work closely with Management to handle all employee relations counseling, investigations, conflict resolution, management direction and training
- Act as an employee advocate to assist with employees’ confidential issues and share feedback with HR management
- Support and advise on legal matters as it relates to compliance, provincial and federal regulation and how it may impact employees and/or the operation
- Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes through our HRIS and ensure all processes are executed seamlessly
- Work closely with HR and Operations Management to ensure a high level of employee morale by recommending and managing employee events in an effort to build the company culture and reduce attrition
- Coordinate employee engagement events such as wellness fairs, holiday events and employee birthday celebrations to name a few
- Manage and facilitate special training and mandatory training projects as needed
- Handle any necessary employee communication to keep managers and employees up to date on policies, best practices and general information
- Assist employees with any benefits related coverage or claim issues, open enrollment and general questions
- Support the HR Manager in day-to-day department functions
- Assist with Health & Safety initiatives
- Assist with ad-hoc projects and other duties as assigned

**What you bring**:

- 2-3 years’ experience in a similar capacity
- Must have 1 to 2 years’ experience working in a call center environment
- Broad knowledge of HR principles and practices including ESA and labour laws
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Organizational and project management skills
- Strong knowledge as it relates to talent acquisition methods & resources - job boards, professional networks, social media channels, etc.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or equivalent
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- One who fosters and promotes cooperation and consensus among key decision-makers
- Demonstrated experience working in an entrepreneurial environment and for a rapidly growing and evolving organization
- Must have excellent organizational and presentation skills
- Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to train and manage diverse workforce
