MOA/Office Administrator

Inlet Community Birth Program is an interdisciplinary medical clinic that includes midwives, physicians, nurses, and lactation consultants to provide the best quality maternity care for families. We are a busy practice with a large number of care providers who work in a fast paced environment. We are looking for an office administrator who is empathetic and caring and who can provide excellent service to our pregnant patients and to the care providers who work at our clinic.

The person we are looking for should have:

- Top-notch communication and customer service skills
- Maturity, confidence, and the ability to protect patient confidentiality
- The ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks
- Critical thinking skills and the ability to problem-solve independently
- Relevant training such as MOA certification or experience in a medical office is preferred
- Excellent computer skills, preferably experience with OSCAR EMR and Microsoft Office
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and efficiency
- A positive attitude and a team spirit

**Responsibilities**:

- Utilize medical office experience to efficiently manage patient appointments and inquiries.
- Maintain electronic medical records accurately and ensure patient confidentiality.
- Utilize Microsoft Office skills to create and update documents & spreadsheets.
- Provide caring customer service to patients and visitors in person and over the phone.
- Assist with front desk duties, including greeting patients, verifying insurance, and processing payments.
- Effectively interact with patients, colleagues, and healthcare providers.

Start date: On or before November 1 ideally.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 40 per week
