**Job Title**: AR/AP Accounting Specialist

**Schedule**: Monday to Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm
**Compensation**: $65,000.00CAD yearly salary.

**Position Summary**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Accounts Payable**: Invoice entry, coding, reconciling vendor statements, processing payments, corporate credit card transactions, and maintaining A/P sub-ledgers.
- **Accounts Receivable**: Creating invoices and following up on outstanding payments.
- **Data Management**: Document scanning, filing, and maintaining vendor, contractor, supplier, etc. records.
- **Collaboration**: Working with Project Managers, Estimators, Community Managers and external suppliers/vendors to resolve invoice and payment discrepancies.
- **Among others.**

**Qualifications & Requirements**
- **Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience in full-cycle accounting**, specifically in A/P & A/R.
- **Proficiency in Sage 300 (Timberline)**is a required.**
- **Diploma in Accounting, Bookkeeping, or equivalent experience.**
- Experience in **job cost accounting** within the construction industry **is a required.**
- Strong proficiency in **Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.**
- Ability to **multi-task, prioritize, and meet tight deadlines** with mínimal supervision.
- Excellent **communication and problem-solving skills.**
- Highly **organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable** in a dynamic work environment.

**Physical & Additional Requirements**
- Ability to **sit at a desk for extended periods** while **working on a computer**.
- **Occasional lifting** of files, boxes, or office supplies (**up to 20 lbs**).
- **Strong hand-eye coordination** for data entry and document processing.
- **Ability to handle repetitive tasks with accuracy and efficiency**.
- **Capable of working in a fast-paced environment** with frequent interruptions and tight and conflicting deadlines.
- Must be **able to maintain focus and attention to detail** in a structured, process-driven role.
