**About the role**
- As a key member of our Accounting and Finance team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial transactions while fostering positive relationships with vendors and customers. Your skills will be key to keeping our financial processes running smoothly.

**What you'll do**
- ** Own Full-Cycle AP & AR Processes**:Manage all aspects of accounts payable and receivable, ensuring transactions are accurate and processed on time.
- ** Verify & Process with Precision**:Review, validate, and process invoices and accounting documents while ensuring compliance with company policies.
- ** Efficient Payment Management**:Secure appropriate approvals, process payments in our accounting system, issue vendor payments via cheque, EFT, and wire with accuracy.
- ** Strengthen Client Relationships**: Process customer orders and invoices promptly, maintaining clear and trustworthy communication.
- ** Reconcile Accounts**: Keep accounts and balances accurate by ensuring payments are properly recorded and receivables are regularly reconciled.
- ** Facilitate Seamless Operations**: Organize import documents and maintain effective communication with vendors to streamline processes and workflows.
- ** Support Team Success**: Contribute to additional tasks and projects as needed to support the department's objectives.

**What you bring**
- ** Education & Expertise**:A post-secondary degree or diploma in Accounting or Finance, paired with **2+ years of hands-on experience** in accounts payable and receivable.
- ** Tech-Savvy & Detail-Oriented**: Strong data entry skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Experience with **Accpac** is a plus
- ** Meticulous & Organized**: A sharp eye for detail and the ability to **juggle multiple priorities** with ease.
- ** Self-Driven & Collaborative**: Exceptional communication skills to **work independently** and seamlessly **collaborate with the team**.
