Site Administrator

Demonstrates role modeling of the Mission, Vision and Values in daily interactions with staff, residents, families and volunteers. Accountable for development of an integrated, professional, high functioning site leadership team. Represents site interests within the portfolio and organization. Acts as the site representative for media or public relation issues as necessary. Acts as a resource to staff regarding issues in the facility. Supports site and/or organizational change by raising awareness through communication, helping staff to cope with and understand changes that may impact them. Represents the interests of the organization with local community members, officials and politicians. Promotes public relations and community development by involvement in community functions and planning. Builds effective labour relations within site and fosters professional working relationship with union representatives. Provide support to the Community and Foundation Boards in fulfilling its strategic plan, community engagement strategies and external relations responsibilities as part of the Covenant Health governance structure and enabling the board the greatest potential for local advocacy and advisory capacity. Champions and actively participates in improvement initiatives at the site level, including leading improvement initiatives. This position is non-unionized.

**Required Qualifications**:
Undergraduate degree in health care discipline or business/administration required. Minimum of eight (8) years progressive health care management experienced required. Demonstrated experience in operational planning and leadership. Experience at a senior level in health care administration within a multi-union environment. Experience in the rural and continuing care sector. Experience in financial accountability.
