We are currently looking to add a **Shipping and Receiving Coordinator** to our growing team in Brantford, Ontario.

**Primary Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Prepare items for shipping, noting item contents, delivery methods, and other logístical details
- Accept and document packages and deliveries made to the facility
- Identify and resolve shipping, storage, or receiving discrepancies as they arise
- Determine method of shipment, utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates.
- Unpack and examine incoming shipments, reject damaged items, record shortages, and correspond with shipper to rectify damages and shortages.
- Examine outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications.
- Arrange imports and exports of products and supplies
- Arrange transportation of products and supplies.
- Purchase supplies as required
- Communicate and report to management on supply levels
- Coordinate with production to ensure supply levels
- Coordinate quality control program and track test results
- Track sales to locations and customers
- Additional duties as assigned

**Qualifications**:

- 3 to 5 years experience in a related role
- Experience with rail shipping is a benefit
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- Strong analytical skills and professional judgement
- Exceptional ability to work independently
- Ability to set and meet deadlines
- Ability to manage multiple tasks to completion at the same time

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
