The Zamboni Company has maintained a Canadian operation since 1967. You may recognize the city of Brantford, Ontario, as the home of “The Great One,” Wayne Gretzky. For many years it has been the Canadian home of the Zamboni ice resurfacer as well.

The Canadian facility houses 48,000 square feet of Zamboni machine manufacturing and the plant is busy year-round.

Zamboni Company Ltd. is looking for a dedicated and detailed oriented individual to join our **Supply Chain Department as a Shipper/Receiver.**

Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, this position is required to adhere to company direction to complete the shipping/receiving requirements of the product/company. The shipping environment is a team environment that mandates cooperation and respectfulness from all employees. This role in the **Supply Chain Department** will require the ability to pay attention to detail and meet production/shipping schedule needs.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Work within a team of shipping team members to coordinate work to meet the requirements of the schedule and enhance the work environment through support, communication and cross-training
- Load/unload trucks for receiving and shipping parts
- Verify packing list accuracy against parts received
- Delivery of parts to the warehouse and production line assuring that parts are delivered in the correct location/bin
- Kitting parts/packaging and some assembly
- Complete cycle counts of parts
- Communicate positively and constructively with all employees, customers and suppliers
- Willing to participate in a team environment, contribute to the constant improvement mentality
- Follow all safety regulations and company protocols/procedures

**Requirements including, but not limited to**:

- Minimum three (3) year related shipping and receiving experience
- Team player with effective time management, organization and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in operating forklifts with a valid forklift operator’s certification **(preferred)**:

- Ability to multitask and prioritize based on departmental needs
- Strong verbal communication skills are essential for constant interaction with various departments
- Strong computer skills for processing shipping documents
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure or tight constantly changing deadlines
- Working knowledge and understanding of quality management systems
- Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs.) and stand for extended periods
- Cross-training will be required to foster collaboration and efficiency between the Shipper and Receiver roles

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $28.10-$33.06 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
