We are looking for a Project Coordinator who will support our Operations team. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be a vital part of the team. Big Block is a fast-growing and dynamic organization, so we are looking for an individual who is eager to have an impact and wants to help the company achieve its goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in the planning, development and implementation of residential projects, including scope and recommendations, mandatory approvals and ensuring that program mandates are met, and expenditures are within budget.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project success
- Assist in maintaining budgets, research, and communicate changes that effect the team.
- Create, review, evaluate and implement new administrative procedures, and manage files.
- Establish work priorities and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met.
- Support and maintain project schedules, budgets, and documentation.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Assist in the procurement of materials and equipment needed for projects.
- Facilitate communication between team members.
- Assist in the tendering process.

Qualifications, Education and Experiences
- Previous 2-3 years experience in construction project coordination, experience in residential or a diploma in Architectural Technologies construction is an asset.
- Proficiency in EXCEL and Microsoft Programs.
- Blueprint reading skills and the ability to interpret construction plans is a big asset.
- Knowledge of project management principles and practices.
- Experience in CAD or Revit would be valuable but not necessary.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication, interpersonal skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in tendering is an asset.
