We’re looking for a dependable, experienced painter who’s ready to step into a hybrid leadership role that blends hands-on painting with jobsite coordination, crew scheduling, and project support. This is a key position for someone with the skill, initiative, and communication savvy to help drive projects forward while maintaining quality and structure on every site.

If you’re confident with both brushwork and spray, have experience working at heights, know your way around a lift, and are willing to travel both within the Lower Mainland and occasionally out of town—this is for you.

Key Responsibilities:

- Painting & Site Oversight

- Work alongside the crew while providing leadership and guidance on-site
- Maintain clean, safe, and professional job sites
- Comfortable working at heights (e.g. ladders, scaffolding, lifts)
- Operate or supervise use of boom lifts and scissor lifts when required
- Travel to and work at out-of-town sites as needed (e.g. Vancouver Island, Kelowna, other BC regions)
- Step in as needed to complete prep, touch-ups, or small solo jobs

Field Coordination & Scheduling
- Coordinate project schedules with the owner and site managers
- Assign painters to jobs and manage daily task tracking in Zoho Projects
- Communicate clearly with clients, subs, and general contractors
- Adjust crew schedules in real time based on job progress or delays
- Travel across job sites in the Lower Mainland and beyond as needed

Project Support & Admin
- Read plans and project tracking
- Upload receipts, update job details, and maintain CRM records
- Support the owner in planning and closing out projects smoothly

Must-Have Qualifications:
3+ years of professional painting experience, including exterior and spray work
- Prior experience as a lead hand, foreperson, or field/site coordinator
- Comfortable reading blueprints/plans
- Not afraid of heights and experienced with ladders, scaffolding, and lifts
- Proficient in operating boom lifts and scissor lifts
- Strong scheduling and coordination skills, ideally in a trades or construction environment
- Willingness to travel within the Lower Mainland and occasionally out of town (including Vancouver Island, Kelowna, and other BC locations)
- Willing to work occasional evenings and weekends
- Reliable and self-directed, with a strong sense of accountability
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Driver’s license and reliable vehicle
- Comfortable using (or learning) Zoho Projects and CRM

Nice-to-Have:

- Experience quoting/estimating painting jobs
- Familiarity with Lower Mainland and regional job site practices
- Ability to track costs or help evaluate job profitability
